Jaqui Lane

Jaqui was a long-standing friend and supporter of Ross and it’s because of him that she has a rather large library of books on the history of Paris and France.

Her favourite Parisian is Germaine de Stael, daughter of one of the most important men in French history, Jacques Necker, the Director of Finance under King Louis XVI.

A good book is Madame De Stael by Maria Fairweather. Other good reads include: Paris. The secret history by Andrew Hussey, The Seven Ages of Paris by Alistair Horne, Napoleon by Frank McLynn. Marie Antoinette by Antonia Fraser.

And that’s just to get you started.

When she is not reading, Jaqui is writing business histories and has recently launched a global, online self-pubishing program, The Book Adviser.

Paris City Walks is the continuing part of Ross’ journey and working with Caroline and Brent is, simply, a gift.
